BSAC Team Win First Ever Medals at East District XC Relays
The aim of BSAC is to introduce athletic skills to youngsters, to develop those skills and to provide goals through the attainment of Club Standards and involvement in competition both locally and further afield.
The Club, comprising of girls and boys from the age of nine and upwards to seniors, competes regularly in the Petrofac League, and the Scottish Young Athletes League and Club and National championship events. In the winter months our members also compete in local and national cross country competitions.
Club members benefit from:
Improved fitness, balance, co-ordination, stamina & strength.
Gaining skills in running, jumping & throwing.
Competing & having fun.

BSAC Medals at East District XC Relays
BSAC Young Females 'A' Team won Silver Medals at the East District XC Relays at Livingston on Saturday 8 October, the first time the Club has ever won medals at a District XC Relay Event.

AGM and Ceilidh 2016
A great night was had by all at the annual Club Gathering at Finzean Hall, on Saturday 1 October. A brief AGM was followed by prize giving and dancing to the New Distillery Band.
It's that Cross Country time of year!
The time has come to put away your track spikes and dig out your long cross-country spikes, hill running shoes or trainers. Think about the fun to be had in splashing through the mud, snow, tracks and trails of a Scottish winter XC season.

A very big THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make this year's Championships a very successful event, a great few days and fantastic weather too.
Silver Medal for Rees
Congratulations to Alisha Rees on silver at the European Youths in Georgia. The Scottish sprinter ran 23.70 in the Tbilisi 200m final to finish second, after a PB in the semi-final of 23.57.
Great effort by the Banchory Stonehaven/Edinburgh AC athlete - well done to Alisha, her family and her coach.
