The aim of BSAC is to introduce athletic skills to youngsters, to develop those skills and to provide goals through the attainment of Club Standards and involvement in competition both locally and further afield.
The Club, comprising of girls and boys from the age of nine and upwards to seniors, competes regularly in the Grampian Athletics League, the Youth Development League as well as Club and National Championship events. In the winter months our members also compete in local and national cross country competitions.
Club members benefit from:

Next up are the Lindsays District XC Champs at three venues around the country – with all scheduled to take place on Saturday 8 December – and more than 2000 athletes set to toe the line.
Winter Training begins!!
Saturday running training will start on the 6th of October. Please be at the pavilion in Burnett Park, training starts at 10.30 - do not be late! (Remember that some weeks we will head to other venues, so it is important to be there on time.) Usually we will finish around 11.45, but coaches will advise if there is a change to this at drop off each week.
Indoor training will begin again after the October break, Thursday evenings 5:30pm in the Academy sports hall, but due to limitations on numbers within the sports hall will be by invitation from the coaches.
2018 Club Standards.
A lot of the club standards have been changed for the 2018 season. And its in your favour, a lot of the previous standards have been......Lowered. Great news for you guys and girls to who are chasing those standards. See here for new 2018 Standards and good luck in reaching them.
